How Can You Made Such Big Mistake While Announcing Best Picture Awards

According to Wikipedia, Oscars means The Academy Awards, or “Oscars“, is a group of twenty-four artistic and technical honors given annually by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) to recognize excellence in cinematic achievements in the United States film industry as assessed by the Academy’s voting membership.

Why everyone is talking about Oscars since yesterday? What exactly happened on Oscars? Will it turn to a memory or something blast has happened?

Oscars ceremony was going good but ended with a dramatic note. On February 26, 2017 a moment came at 89th Academy Awards ceremony when winner was wrongly pronounced for Best picture 2016. This is why everyone is gossiping about Oscars and its awards.

It must be the happiest moment for the winner later and worst moment for ex-winner. Well, Moonlight won the best picture award for year 2016. Earlier it was declared to La La Land. (Though La La Land won six awards in different categories like Best original Score, Best Screenplay etc.)

Epic Moment Happened

Two presenters named Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway wrongly announced the winner for best picture. They said La La Land and later on it was corrected by the Jimmy Kimmel (Host). It all went really dramatic and embarrassing at the same time when entire team of La La Land has come on the stage and started delivering their winner’s speech.

Later it was corrected and then they announced Moonlight as the winner of Best Picture 2016. This is the epic moment and then La La Land team politely made a way to Moonlight Team on the stage to accept the award.

After all the drama happened with two teams sharing the same stage for same award, Warren Beatty apologized for the mistake. Jimmy Kimmel then handled the situation on stage and made the correction strongly that Moonlight was the Winner and showed the envelope to cameras.

Emma Stone was heard saying that “Is that the craziest Oscar moment of all time?”

Why only Emma Stone, this is the big question mark on the biggest award ceremony held every year. How can you made such a big mistake at biggest award ceremony? Oscar award is something which everyone dies for.

This all has not only hurt the sentiments of La La Land team members but also affects the reputation of THE OSCARS. Well, everything happens for a reason. Oscars meant for winners not only for best picture.
