The journey of mulayam singh yadav. Mulayam Singh Yadav was a great and prominent leader. The founder of Samajwadi party in India. The one who served as chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. Mulayam Singh Yadav  died in gurugram hospital on 10th of October. He was born on 22nd November 1939. Later on he also became the Minister of Defence in Government of India. The one who got elected 10 times as a member of the legislative assembly. 7 time Lok Sabha member. At the time when he left each one of us he was the MP from Manipur. From his party correspondence he often refers to Netaji. Mulayam Singh Yadav has been in office since August. He was in Medanta Hospital gurugram and died at the age of 82.

Mulayam Singh Yadav’s early life was spent in the village Safai. It is in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. He has only one son, Akhilesh Yadav from his first wife Malti Devi. He completed his post graduation from Etawah college and later on masters degree from Agra University.

 

The one who served under such iconic leaders like Ram Manohar Lohia and Raj Narayan. He was first elected as MLA in Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly 1967. He spent 8 months serving there. At the time of emergency in 1975 imposed by Indira Gandhi he was imprisoned. Under his custody he spent 19 months. After the year he became state minister.

Later in 1980 he became the president of Uttar Pradesh Lok Dal party. Later on Lok Dal party became Janata Dal which refers to People’s party. The very next year he became the leader of the opposition party and was in his chair till 1985. After a few years when the Janata Dal got split Mulayam Singh launched the Krantikari Morcha party. 

HIS TENURE AS CHEIF MINISTER

He became 3 time chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. In 1989 became CM of Uttar Pradesh. He was superseded by the collapse of VP Singh national government in 1990. He joined Chandrashekhar Janata Dal socialist party with the support of Indian National Congress. Letter on after a year International Congress step back its support and the government collapsed. His party lost to BJP. 

 

Later in 1992 he founded his own Samajwadi Party also known as socialist party. Next year he allied with the Bahujan Samaj party. Collision was for the election which was going to be held in 1993 November. This Alliance between these two parties stopped BJP coming to power. Became the chief minister with the background support of Indian National Congress and Janata Dal. Mulayam Singh Yadav also stand for the demand of a separate state for Uttarakhand. It was the most controversial topic at the time.

 

His third term of chief minister was in the year 2002. The BJP joined hands with Bahujan Samaj party which was under the great politician Mayawati. Mayawati and Mulayam Singh Yadav were the greatest rivals in political history. Later next year Mulayam Singh Yadav took the oath as the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh for the third time.

The great leader in India’s post-independence duration also served as the Minister of Defense. In the United front coalition government he became the Defense Minister. When the Atal Bihari Vajpayee union government fell, he didn’t join the National Congress Party. He was elected 10 times as the member of parliament. And also seven times in Lok Sabha.

In the letter decades 2012 when Akhilesh Yadav his son became the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. The other family was divided into two groups. The one group was led by Akhilesh Yadav, his son. It got support from the SP National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav, his father’s cousin. The other group was under Mulayam Singh which was supported by State chief of the party Shivpal Yadav.

The iconic legendary Mulayam Singh Yadav was not just a politician but also a full fledged man with experience of coalition government. At the time when his son became the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Mulayam Singh Yadav stepped back.

Mulayam Singh yadav journey was salutable. He had seen the struggle of India during independence. Afterwards the uniting the nation. Watching the framework of government and constitution. The different problems faced in unifying the country. Five year plans and the LPG execution in India.

With all the facing of rollercoaster, he was one of the most toughest politician.
