Ramnagar Fort
Around 14 km far from the center of the city it’s situated the Ramnagar Fort. The bank of the river Ganga once was used as a defensive place. Now it’s turned into a museum with vintage automobiles, antique weapons, clothes, etc.
A place in this Museum Honors Ved Vyas. Ved Vyas was the great Saint and the writer of the longest Epic Mahabharat. The 18-century stone structure shows its beauty from all spheres.
Sankat Mochan Hanuman temple
The beautiful temple of lord hanuman is situated at the bank of Assi ghat. It’s been proved that the temple is exactly at the same place where tulsi das have thought. The Lord of monkey hanuman is prayed to by millions of devotees every day.
In April and may the place gets decorated and many traditional performances take place. This event started more than 100 years ago.
The Durga temple
Varanasi is one of the oldest cities in the world. Prominent for its spirituality and devotional city. The temple of Devi Durga is a 300 old temple. The temple is all in red from top to bottom. You will see the end number of monkeys all around. A small lake is adjacent to the temple where devotees go and offer prayer.
Shri kashi Vishvanath temple Varanasi
One of the pious places and a jyotirlinga. Lord shiv city Varanasi is famous for its glory. The Kashi Vishwanath temple nearby the Manikarnika ghat. The top of the temple is covered with gold with its striking spiral structure. Around 800 grams of pure gold were used.
Last year in 2021, the land space around the temple was vacated. The huge area surrounding was vacated for the grand corridor for the temple.
The place comprises a guest house, a museum, walk through passages. Now devotees can come by boat. Take a deep bath in the holy river Ganga. Then walk through the pathway inside the temple and offer the holy river water to the shiv ling. The shiv lingam is the only shiv ling among the rest where devotees can touch it.
Manikarnika Ghat
The cremation ghat in Varanasi where the fire never stopped. It’s been aging the flumes and the smoke of the that never stop. It’s written in one of the holy books of shivpuran where this holy place, where the chain of life and death breaks. The path to moksha is here.
